You often hear stories of identical twins duping teachers during exam time etc. The twin sisters in this story took such pranks to a new level when it came to light recently that one twin was substituting for the other in her role as honorary Judge so that the real judge could collect her legal fees for working as a lawyer at the same time as she was meant to be trying cases! Doctors in Bangladesh have successfully separated conjoined twins in a seven hour operation. The little girls are stable at the moment and the doctors are optimistic about their chances of survival. What a terrible thing for the parents to go through though. Imagine how hard it would be trying to decide whether to separate them or not given the odds of success... The experts believe that identical twins are nothing more than a fluke of nature. They think it is pure chance that the fertilized egg splits. But is it really? A couple in Germany have recently become the proud parents of twins - there is nothing unusual about twins these days except if they are born different colours!! Read about gorgeous Leo and Ryan here. |
